I am Brandie Riley and this is my 21st year teaching.  I've been at Lake Joy Primary my entire teaching career so far.  I taught kindergarten for 11 years, 1st grade for the last 9 years, and now I'm back in the beloved Kindergarten.  I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University.  I have a Master's in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Early Childhood reading and literacy from Walden University.  I also have a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden University.  I've been married to my wonderful husband Charles for 13 years and we have a sweet 11 year old named Aliyah.  She is in 6th grade at Perry Middle School.  Teaching primary aged children is so rewarding because we get to witness the magic of children's first experiences with learning.  Every day is filled with discovery, laughter, and most of all growth.
