I am Brandie Riley and this is my 16th year teaching.  I've been at Lake Joy Primary my entire teaching career so far.  I taught kindergarten for 11 years before moving to 1st grade.  I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University.  I have a Master's in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Early Childhood reading and literacy from Walden University.  I also have a Specialist degree in Teacher leadership from Walden University.  I've been married to my wonderful husband Charles for 8 years and we have a sweet 6 year old little girl named Aliyah.  I absolutely love teaching.  I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else.
