My name is Christy Behnke, and I'm proud to be starting my 23rd year in education—all of which have been spent at Lake Joy Primary. I’m a lifelong resident of Warner Robins, Georgia, and a proud graduate of the Houston County School System. I attended elementary, middle and high school in Houston County.
I hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership, and I am gifted certified. Throughout my career, I’ve had the joy of teaching both 1st and 2nd grade.
Teaching is truly my passion. I love helping children grow, learn, and reach their full potential. Every day in the classroom is a new opportunity to inspire, encourage, and make a lasting impact.
