Susan Hardin
Bio

Mrs. Hardin has been a teacher for 23 years, all in Houston County, mainly in 3rd grade and 1st grades.  She has taught at Perdue, Eagle Springs and most recently here at Lake Joy Primnary.    She now works as a reading and math specialist in grades K - 2. 

Mrs. Hardin earned her teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University.  Later she earned her Masters degree in Education and School Administration from Georgia College and State University.  She earned her Specialist degree in Education and School Administration also from Georgia College and State University.  She holds several other certifications and endorsements to include Teacher Support Specialist/Mentor Teacher, Literacy Coach and ESOL endorsement.  

In her early career, she was nominated for the Sally May New Teacher of the Year award by her principal at Perdue Elementary School. In 2010 she was honored to be Eagle Springs's Teacher of the Year.  In 2019, she was honored to be nominated Lake Joy Primary"s Teacher of the Year.

She is married with three children and enjoys spending time with her family.  Mrs. Hardin is proud to work with the wonderful students, parents, teachers and staff here at Lake Joy Primary School.,
