Mrs. Hardin has been a teacher for 27 years, all in Houston County, primarily in first and third grades. She taught at Perdue Elementary, Eagle Springs Elementary and in 2018 she began teaching at Lake Joy Primary. She now works as a reading and math specialist in grades K - 2.
Mrs. Hardin earned her teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University. Later she earned her Masters degree in Education and School Administration from Georgia College and State University. She earned her Specialist degree in Education and School Administration also from Georgia College and State University. She holds several other certifications and endorsements to include Teacher Support Specialist/Mentor Teacher, Literacy Coach, ESOL Endorsement and Dyslexia Endorsement.
In her early career, she was nominated for the Sally May New Teacher of the Year award by her principal at Perdue Elementary School. In 2010, she was honored to be Eagle Springs's Teacher of the Year. In 2019, she was honored to be nominated Lake Joy Primary's Teacher of the Year.
She is married with three children and enjoys spending time with her family. Mrs. Hardin is proud to work with the wonderful students, parents, teachers and staff here at Lake Joy Primary School.,
